Meet Preeti

Preeti's love of sweets led to a quest for a chocolate chip cookie that would check all the boxes. That quest led to an unexpected career or two, as she discovered that it was really sharing sweets--with her family, friends, and community--that she cared the most about.

Baking her cookies carried her far, and one or two careers later, she finds herself full circle: back to where she began, with a solo venture focused on the cookies that began it all. 

Preeti spends most of her time at Cheeni, her restaurant, but when she's not there, she's busy planning. She's full of bright ideas, and is constantly seeking ways to bring them to life. She's a mom to two daughters, a wife to a husband of over 25 years, and a very proud grandma to a naughty granddog, Moo. She loves good food and good people, books and the sea, and Sugar & Spice is a mission beyond just selling cookies...but she can't quite tell you why. At least, not yet!
